Other Server Services
Besides the most commonly used internet services like e-mail, web-hosting and file-services, the HRZ offers further and more specialized server-based services, which can be used by every student or employee of the University of Bonn with his Uni-ID:
to provide the “right” time to your computer
WWW cache for faster response times on the internet
Use of the high-performance computers of the RHTH Aachen University and of the computer network NRW
Furthermore, the HRZ offers some:
This includes special server services like server housing, project related disk space, data backup and more. The “Institutions” include all bodies and departments that are listed in the course catalog of the University of Bonn.
