E-Mail-Lists
Simplified processing and administration of e-mail lists

E-Mail-Lists

E-mail lists can be recommended as a more efficient alternative to communication within newsgroups, which in some cases produce a very large number of messages.

The e-mail list service is intended for the exchange of information within groups with a limited number of participants. An e-mail list comprises the e-mail addresses of its members under a common address. An e-mail to this list address is sent to all list members.

Lists on the list server of the HRZ are addressed with listenname@listen.uni-bonn.de.

For whom?

Employees

This service is available to all employees of the University of Bonn.

What for?
