Location
The HRZ is located close to the city centre on the Poppelsdorf campus. It is within walking distance of Bonn's main railway station, the university buildings in the city centre and is well connected by public transport. However, there are only a few parking spaces available. Please use the following address for navigation:

Arrival from Bonn main station
- You can reach us on foot via Colmantstraße and Endenicher Allee in about 10 minutes. To do so, leave the main station via the rear exit (Quantiusstraße).
- Bus lines 604, 605, 606, 607 will take you to the Haydnstrasse stop in about 4 minutes. This is about 150 metres from the main entrance to the HRZ.

Parking
A barrier-free car park is located on the parking deck, to the left of the main entrance.
Access to the building
There is a ground-level entrance from the car park. It is located at the side entrance at Wegelerstraße 8 and is at the rear of the building (door width approx. 80 cm). The rooms on the ground floor of the HRZ and thus also the IT Helpdesk are accessible barrier-free via this side entrance. In the area of the entrance you will also find the lift, which you can use to reach all rooms from the first to the last floor. Please inform the IT Helpdesk of the HRZ (0228/732751) if you want to use the lift: you will receive the key there.
Toilets
Toilets for disabled people is located at the rear of the building. It is located on the ground floor, to the left of the side entrance at Wegelerstraße 8. It can be opened with a euro key. If you do not have a Euro key, a key can be borrowed from the IT Helpdesk.

IT-Heldesk, Course Room and Offices
IT-Helpdesk
The IT Helpdesk is located in the HRZ Plaza on the ground floor (room 0.008a). If you enter the building through the main entrance, you will walk towards a corridor at the end of which is the Plaza.
The helpdesk team will provide you with information and advice on most of the HRZ services.
Course Room
The course room where training and teaching sessions take place is located on the ground floor of the University Computer Centre and can only be reached via the plaza. If you enter the building through the main entrance, you will walk towards a corridor at the end of which is the plaza. The course room is signposted there.
Offices
The offices of most staff members are located on floors 0 to 3.
You can reach the offices on the upper floors via the staircase at the main entrance or via the lifts in the staircase.
If you would like to visit a colleague in person, please contact them in advance. Please refrain from spontaneous visits.
Opening Hours
The building is open between 8am and 6pm. Please note that this does not represent the general availability of all staff or the helpdesk.
