The servers of the platform are operated by the University IT and Data Center of the University of Bonn. There will be no changes for users, as the university owned video platform also uses the software Opencast.
What do users have to know?
All videos that were uploaded to educast until February 2, 2024, will be automatically migrated.
Please take notice: Videos that have been uploaded to educast after February 2, 2024 will remain on educast, which will remain until the end of the winter semester 23/24, but will not be included in the migration and will no longer be listed on eCampus from mid-March 2024. These videos will be deleted by the University of Münster when the educast service is discontinued on March 31, 2024. In this case, the videos must be uploaded again, but on the university's own video platform, eCampus Video, which is then active.
