E-Mail Antivirus- and Antispam

This service prevents the acceptance of e-mails from known spam addresses. In addition, accepted e-mails are checked for spam as well as for viruses.

Suspicious e-mails are automatically moved to a special "spam folder".

For whom?

All mail addresses of the University of Bonn on the central mail system are automatically protected against spam.

For decentralised mail systems, the service can be activated by the institute administrator.

The service is automatically activated for e-mail addresses on the central e-mail system server and reduces the delivery of spam mail.

Since this service is automatically set up on the server, nothing else needs to be done.
